Why should I use a 360º?
360° assessments are designed to assist the user with professional development. Typically, individuals only receive feedback from their direct supervisor, but not from their other constituents. Therefore, they do not get a full view of strengths and opportunities for enhancement as perceived by the people with whom the user frequently interacts. Thus, the 360° provides a well-rounded picture.

Who completes the 360° assessment?
You select your response team of up to 10 individuals. In addition to you, your team will include your direct supervisor, members of your staff or lay volunteers if you do not have paid staff, lay persons, and peers. Of course, any of these categories other than self are optional. The more of the categories you include, the more well-rounded the picture of yourself you will receive.
How do I select my team?
We suggest that you select a minimum of two individuals to represent the laity, staff and peers. Choose people that you feel will provide fair and honest answers. Let them know that you value their input, and that their responses (other than your supervisor’s) will remain anonymous as long as 2 or more responses are received for each category.
How are the ratings given?
We give you an overall rating for each of the 6 leadership areas along with an aggregate score for the area by response category (supervisor, self, peers, etc). In addition, there is an aggregate rating for each question. The graph for each area shows how your supervisor, you and collectively everyone but you responded to each question.
